What metering systems are used for wind and PV installations?+
For generation plants with more than 100 kWp of installed capacity, load profile meters (rLM) are used, which continuously record energy yield in 15-minute intervals. For smaller plants under 100 kWp, intelligent metering systems (iMSys/Smart Meters) are deployed. acteno covers both variants across all voltage levels.
What happens to my plant after the EEG subsidy ends?+
After the 20-year EEG remuneration expires, plant operators can continue to generate revenue through Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) or direct marketing. acteno supports with separate metering by marketing type and delivers the real-time data needed for forecasting and economically viable continued operation.
Can acteno also implement complex metering concepts for mixed parks?+
Yes. acteno specialises in implementing complex metering concepts – from full feed-in through surplus feed-in to mixed configurations with wind, PV, biogas, storage and EV charging infrastructure. We handle planning, coordination with the grid operator and installation.
How does switching the metering point operator work for existing installations?+
The switch is straightforward: you commission acteno, we coordinate the process with the previous metering point operator and the grid operator, install the new metering technology and take over ongoing operations. The entire process is regulated by the Metering Point Operation Act (MsbG).
What data does acteno provide for direct marketing?+
acteno delivers real-time feed-in data in 15-minute intervals that can be integrated directly into your operations management and trading systems. Data is provided via API, MSCONS, ModBus or OPC-UA and supports your forecasting systems for optimal marketing.
